Yackandandah Health has appointed nine people to its Community Reference Group.
CEO, Annette Nuck said the group was selected to represent a cross-section of community views as Yack Health check-ins with the community about its developments. These include a new website, operation of the medical centre and plans for the Stage 2 development; a community hub.
“We thank everyone who applied. We were pleased with the response and have ended up with a good mix of people who have connections to many community groups incorporating people of all ages and an interest in aged care,” Ms Nuck said.

Ms Nuck said the group held its first meeting in early August where members were given updates on the building project, Yack Health’s approach to seeking doctors for the medical centre and members contributed ideas for the new website.
“The members were briefed on our vision and future plans. They offered very constructive feedback on the new website.”
